Details
My broad range of experience combined with a rich knowledge of various idioms, along with my technological and musical background, has enabled me to specialise within spatial audio and post-production.
More recently my educational focus has led me to explore object-based audio (especially Dolby Atmos & MPEG-H 3D Audio) and scene-based audio, with projects and research focusing around the mastering process within the aforementioned idioms.
I am currently available for projects within post-production, specifically Dialogue Editing and Dubbing Mixing.
Background
My background as a classically trained musician enables me to tackle musically focused projects, using my trained ear for critical listening. My technical training is the culmination of a BA in Creative Music Technology and an MSc in Audio Production , with industry experiences and training, learning traditional industry practices alongside the latests techniques and equipment.
Having worked as the sound technician at Middleton Hall (Hull), I have experience in working with professionals whilst dealing with tight schedules of complex events. As a Customer Service Supervisor at Waitrose & Partners for many years, I am able to solve problems efficiently whilst working as a team, or leading a team when necessary.

Specs
Pro Tools Certified User, with proficient expertise in Adobe Audition & Reaper. Also experienced in Logic, Ableton & Max. Familiar with audio networking, I am Level 1 & 2 Dante certified.
Expert user of Avid S6, SSL Duality Delta, SSL AWS924/948 & Midas M-32. Experienced user of DiGiDesign D-Control, Audient ASP8024 & Sony DMX R100, with training for DiGiCo SD-Series.
My studio consists of a Mac Mini (2021) with all aforementioned software, using a pair of ADAM T5V monitors and a pair of Shure SRH840 headphones, for critical listening.
Plug-ins consist of WAVES Platinum Bundle, WAVES One-Knob Series, IEM Suite, ATK Suite, Facebook 360 Spatial Workstation and more specialist plug-ins.
Depending on budget and project requirements, commercial studios are used where necesary.
